Chelsea told to go for Zidane

Former Chelsea star, Frank Leboeuf, has appealed to the club to make moves to replace manager Graham Potter.

Leboeuf believes that it would be a good idea for the Blues to their replace current manager with former Real Madrid head coach, Zinedine Zidane.

Chelsea are currently struggling despite splashing millions on new signings.

They have not won any of their last five games and have won only two of their last 15 games.

The Blues also suffered a devastating 1-0 loss to bottom-placed Southampton in their last Premier League tie on Saturday.

This has increased the call for Potter’s sack at Stamford Bridge but Lebeouf believes Zidane will be an ideal candidate to take over.

When asked whether Zidane would accept Chelsea’s call, Lebeouf told ESPN, “I don’t know, but it would be a very good idea, I would be very pleased.

“I never asked him if he wanted to come to England. I asked him if he didn’t speak English, but he responded in English. So, you know, he speaks English a little bit.

“Yeah, he could be in charge of Chelsea, and I would be very, very happy about it.”
