Chelsea to loan out highly rated youngster after Frank Lampard’s sacking

Chelsea are reportedly ready to loan out Billy Gilmour before the end of the current transfer window just days after Frank Lampard was shown the exit door.

Frank Lampard’s era at Chelsea was brought to an end on Monday when the club owner Roman Abramovic finally concluded that he was not the right man for the job.

The English trainer left just after 18 months and will always be remembered for the number of youths he gave chance to explore themselves at Chelsea.

Billy Gilmour is one player who caught the attention of top clubs during his time under Frank Lampard as he was impressive whenever he’s being called upon.

The young midfielder has only made three starts and three substitute outings this season but Frank Lampard had insisted that he won’t be loaned out.

With Lampard now out of the team, Todofichajes has reported that the 19-year-old is preparing to join a new club temporarily ahead of the appointment of Thomas Tuchel.

The reports noted that former Paris Saint-Germain PSG boss Thomas Tuchel who has become the favourite to land the job at Chelsea is a great admirer of Jorginho who has struggled for game time under Lampard.
