Chelsea have been handed a major boost ahead of their Boxing day clash with Arsenal as Hakim Ziyech and Callum Hudson-Odoi could make their return.

The Blues have been in good form ever since the season started qualifying for the Champions League round of 16 unbeaten but have been beaten in their last two Premier League matches.

Frank Lampard’s team crumbled to Wolves last night and they are hoping to bounce back when they meet West Ham in a London derby on Monday night.

Chelsea’s next game at home against West Ham will come too soon for Ziyech who has been showing his worth ever since he joined the Blues from Ajax as well as Hudson-Odoi who has continued from where he left off last season.

Speaking after the Blues loss to Wolves, Lampard stated that Hakim and Callum will hopefully be training by the end of the week.

However, the coach disclosed uncertainty on wether they would be fit vs. West Ham.

Should Ziyech and Hudson-Odoi return to training by the end of this week, they would surely be ready to play by the end of next week and hopefully bring Chelsea a nice late Christmas present of three points against struggling London rivals in Arsenal.
