The latest update has revealed that Chelsea are ready to back their coach Thomas Tuchel’s signings in the summer transfer window.

This comes as Chelsea were quiet in the recent January transfer window as they didn’t make any significant signing.

The last time they made a major signing was last summer that saw them sign Romelu Lukaku from the Italian side Inter Milan for a fee above £90 million.

While Chelsea doesn’t have chance of competition for the EPL title this season as Man City are the favourites to win, the West London club are, however, preparing for next season.

According to The Telegraph, the Blues are set to back Tuchel in the summer transfer market as a way of rewarding him for not pushing for signings in January, which would have been deemed as ‘unnecessary.’

The reports revealed that the Blues could be set for a busy summer transfer window, as up to 10 players could be set to leave.

Meanwhile, Chelsea are taking a look at three players in particular, with Jules Kounde, Declan Rice and Aurelien Tchouameni all being targets for the Blues.
