Chelsea handed their players shirt numbers recently and five of their players didn’t get any.

The players are Ethan Ampadu, Kenedy, Billy Gilmour, Ross Barkley and Michy Batshuayi.

The report revealed that the Blues have asked the affected players to leave the club.

Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel considers these players as surplus to requirement and wants them to leave Stamford Bridge for new clubs.

This report was confirmed by football transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano.

He disclosed that Levi Colwill didn’t get a number at Chelsea because he would be joining Brighton this summer as part of the Blues deal for Marc Cucurella.

“Levi Colwill has not been given an official squad number as he will leave Chelsea to join Brighton, part of the Cucurella deal.

“Possible loan but it’s a matter of details – he’ll join Brighton.

“Ampadu, Kenedy, Gilmour, Barkley and Batshuayi have all not been given numbers,” Romano tweeted.
