Chelsea target win Premier League Golden Boot

England international and Tottenham Hotspur, Harry Kane has won his third Premier League golden boot this season, ahead of Liverpool’s forward Mohamed Salah.

Recall that the two players went into the last games of the season on Sunday level on 22 goals.

However, Kane scored his 23rd in the first half of Tottenham Hotspurs game at Leicester City.

This will be the 3rd time Kane will win the award as he won it back-to-back in the 2015/16 and 2016/17 campaigns, but Salah on the other hand won it in the next two seasons.

They however both lost to Leicester’s Jamie Vardy last season.

Salah could have won the award but his several chances to add to his tally against Crystal Palace at Anfield on Sunday didn’t convert into any goal.

In the case of Kane, he fired home for Spurs to make it 2-2, in what could be his last match for North London club.

However, while Liverpool, Chelsea, Man Utd and Man City both qualified for the UEFA champions league for next season, Tottenham were fortunate enough to make it to the newly created third-grade tournament known as the European Conference league.

The Hotspur are the only English side that will be playing in the tournament next season.
