In the case of Rudiger, he was available during Chelsea’s 1-1 win vs. Real Madrid but suffered an injury afterwards.
Tuchel in a statement revealed it is not a big issue but confirmed Rudiger wouldn’t be available vs. Fulham this weekend.
When asked during his Premier League pre-match press conference on Friday if Kovacic will return, Tuchel said, “No, unfortunately not, he is still injured. He trained with us, but he’s still not fully confident, he felt something at the end of training. So he’s not available, unfortunately.”
