Chelsea striker and Belgium international Romelu Lukaku has reacted to the claim that he is willing to accept a pay cut to leave Stamford Bridge for the Italian side Inter Milan.

The report revealed that the claim he wants to leave Chelsea has gotten Lukaku angry.

Lukaku, who rejoined Chelsea last summer from Inter for £97.5million is currently struggling to get playing chances at Stamford Bridge.

There has been speculation of his departure, especially at a time when Chelsea are in serious challenges after owner Roman Abramovich was hit by sanctions from the UK government amid Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.

However, a report via the Telegraph revealed that Lukaku is upset by the reports in Italy over his future, and he feels now more than ever everyone at Chelsea should be sticking together.

Since his return to Stamford Bridge, Lukaku has failed to make the expected impact at Stamford Bridge as he has not scored in the league this year.

He is struggling for game time lately as Tuchel prefers Kai Havertz ahead of him.
