Chelsea might not be having the opportunity of using their Germany stars when they resume back from international duty as reports in Germany have claimed there has been a positive coronavirus case in the camp.

Germany are preparing for a World Cup qualifier against Iceland this evening and Chelsea are represented in the team by three players.

Antonio Rudiger, Kai Havertz and Timo Werner are in camp for Germany World Cup qualifiers over the next six days.

According to german publication BILD, the player that tested positive for Covid-19 is Gladbach’s Jonas Hoffman and plans are in place so other players don’t come in contact with him.

It is reported that the German players have been told to stay in their rooms at their hotel and they will not be holding the training scheduled this morning ahead of this evening’s match with Iceland.

Though it’s still unclear whether the match, scheduled to be played at the MSV-Arena in Duisburg, will go ahead but Chelsea fans will be hoping their players don’t test positive for the virus.

It will be a big blow for Chelsea if there key players are affected and will affect their chances in the Premier League.
