Chelsea starlet urged to leave
Former football star Kevin Phillips has sent an advised Chelsea starlet and Scotland international, Billy Gilmour, on his football.
Phillips urged Gilmour, who is currently at Norwich City, to leave the club and move to Leeds United in the coming January transfer window.
Gilmour made it to the Blues first team last season and made seven appearances for the club before he was sent out on loan to Norwich City.
However, his stay at Norwich has not been impressive, and Phillip is of the opinion that a move to Leeds United will favour Gilmour.
He believes the Scottish player style of play is in line with that of Leeds.
“Gilmour hasn’t got much game time under his belt, and I can’t see why with where Norwich are in the league. There’s no point in him going back to Chelsea because he will hardly play,” he told Football Insider.
“He should go back out on loan to somewhere like Leeds. Marcelo Bielsa plays good football, they aren’t rooted to the bottom of the Premier League, and he will probably get more game time.”
