Chelsea goalkeeper Arrizabalaga Kepa is luckiest player under new manager Graham Potter, who has since restored him back to his number one goalie at Stamford Bridge.

Kepa, who was the Blues 2nd choice goalie under former manager Thomas Tuchel, has proved himself keeping five clean sheet so far.

The Spainard is the only Chelsea player to have played every single minute under Potter, and he stressed that the confidence the head coach has instilled in him since his arrival in September is a contributing factor in his fine form.

‘Every player needs confidence and a push from the head coach. For a goalkeeper, maybe it is even more important when you play games in a row.

‘You always have to be aware, as in training it isn’t the same. Now I am confident, and I think I am playing well. I need to keep working.’

Kepa is expected to return to action when Chelsea take on Manchester United this weekend.
