Chelsea star named Carabao Cup player of the Round

Chelsea star Mykhailo Mudryk has been named the Carabao Cup Player of the Round.

This comes as his late goal against Newcastle United which put Chelsea on the path to a shootout victory was recognised.

Chelsea were trailing at Stamford Bridge when Mudryk was introduced with 12 minutes to play.

The Ukraine international made the desired impact that helped Chelsea move to the next round of the tournament.

Mudryk took advantage to produce a composed finish to send the quarter-final tie to penalties.
