Chelsea star Kai Havertz has given an honest assessment about his poor form in recent weeks and how he plans to change his fortune at Stamford Bridge.

Kai Havertz was one of the most sorts after talent in Europe when paid Bayern Leverkusen £72million for his service in the summer.

However, the Germany international has failed to replicate his good form as he scored just scored five goals and provide seven for his teammates in 30 appearances across all competitions.

This made him lose his place in the team but he impressed in Chelsea’s win over Everton last week despite that he was used in a striker role.

However, Havertz failed to impress in the following outing, a goalless draw with Leeds United and he has made clear there are ‘no excuses’ for his poor form.

Speaking with Chelsea’s website after the Leeds United draw, Havertz stated that the coronavirus is now over for him and he feels good.

Havertz stated that he had a little injury in the past few weeks but it’s now time to play good but he have to improve his game.
