Ahead of Chelsea’s game vs Bournemouth on Tuesday as the Premier League finally returns after the 2022 world cup, former Manchester United star, Paul Parker has slammed the Blues for being overrated.

Parker in his statement said that the Blues midfielder Jorginho is not performing, defender Kalidou Koulibaly is ‘lumbering’, while N’Golo Kante has passed his prime.

He added that the west London side will not compete for the Premier League top four this season.

“Honestly, I think that Chelsea’s team is overrated,” Parker told BeMyBet.

“I never really understood why they signed Kalidou Koulibaly. He’s lumbering and he’s not doing anything.

“They don’t have a great goalkeeper or a great centre forward. N’Golo Kante is past his prime and Jorginho isn’t performing at all.

“I really don’t see them being able to compete to finish in the [Premier League] top four. The midfield is lacking creativity.”
