The Premier league giants will be without goalkeeper Edouard Mendy after it emerged that he suffered a thigh injury while on international duty with Senegal.

Chelsea as of late signed the goalkeepet from Rennes in a £20m deal, distinguishing the 28-year-old as a replacement for Kepa Arrizabalaga.

In any case, as opposed to build on his initial two appearances for the club, apparently Edouard Mendy may need to spend time sidelines.

The SFF uncovered on Thursday night that Chelsea’s new arrival had suffered an injury with his thigh prior this week.

While the seriousness of the issue is hazy, Chelsea’s Edouard Mendy isn’t anticipated to play any part of the games against Morocco and Mauritania.

Chelsea will be playing against Southampton at Stamford Bridge on October 17.
