Chelsea have been in the race to sign a new striker after their two strikers Timo Werner and Romelu left this summer.

It, however, seems the wait is almost over as the Blues are set to welcome a new striker soon.

A report via Barcelona insider Gerard Romero revealed that Chelsea could sign former Arsenal star Pierre Emerick Aubameyang as soon as today.

Romero made this known in his latest Twitch report. He disclosed the Catalans have asked Chelsea to accept paying a €25m fixed fee + €3m in add-ons for Aubameyang.

According to the report, if Chelsea accept the terms, the striker will leave Camp Nou for Stamford Bridge today.

Romero also revealed that Barcelona are in talks today with Aubameyang’s entourage to close him leaving the club.

Aside from Romero, other sources have also confirmed the reports.
