A latest report has claimed that Chelsea are set to send Malang Sarr on loan in the coming winter transfer window starting in January.

The report added that the Blues have offered Serie A giants AC Milan and Napoli the chance to sign the young defender.

Sarr moved to Stamford Bridge as a free agent in August 2020, but he has struggled for game time at the west London side, making only four appearances across all competitions so far this season.

According to CalcioNpoli24, Chelsea would be willing to let Sarr leave on loan for regular first-team football.

The reports revealed that the defender’s agent has since contacted both AC Milan and Napoli on his availability to join any of the clubs.

The report added that Napoli have been monitoring the Frenchman for some time and once considered him as a potential replacement for Kalidou Koulibaly when the experienced centre-back was heavily linked with an exit.

AC Milan, on the other hand, have a history of signing Chelsea players, as they currently have former Blues players Fikayo Tomori, Tiemoue Bakayoko and Olivier Giroud in their squad.

Sarr has also been linked with moves to Inter Milan.

The Frenchman has three-and-a-half years remaining on his contract and is valued by Chelsea at around €15m (£12.7m).
