Chelsea return for Napoli forward ahead of January transfer window
Chelsea are already making plans for the January transfer window as a recent report disclosed that the Blues have re-establish their interest in signing Victor Osimhen from Italian Serie A side Napoli.
Recall that the Blues were one of the top club interested in signing the Nigerian forward last summer but the deal fail to materialise for due to finances.
The price Napoli were demanding as of then was not viable to the Blues, hence they drop interest..
Osimhen who was frozen out of former Chelsea manager Antonio Conte’s plans at Napoli, chose to pursue a year on loan with Turkish giants Galatasaray.
While there are claims that Osimhen will remain at Galatasaray until the end of the season, a recent report the are talks regarding his future in the build-up to the winter window.
Chelsea are said to be in contact with the striker’s agent in order to study a January move, according to TEAMtalk.
The report added that Osimhen’s price-tag ahead of January window has significantly dropped as Chelsea could now sign him for just £63 million.
There were claims that Galatasaray were considering making Osimhen’s transfers permanent but 25-year-old would likely favour a move to the English top-flight league.
