Chelsea reportedly tabling an offer for Manchester City legend

Chelsea is reportedly ready to rival Barcelona for the signature of Manchester City forward Sergio Aguero when the season comes to an end.

Sergio Aguero has been able to lay claim as one of the best strikers in the history of the Premier League as he’s been consistent in banging in goals every season.

However, things have been different for Argentina forward this season as he’s been struggling with injuries

With Aguero set to be out of contract at the Etihad Stadium, this summer top European club have been rumoured to be his next destination with Barcelona the favourite.

But Chelsea are ready to rival the Spanish giant for the signature of Sergio Aguero.

According to the report, Chelsea are looking into the possibility of moving foe the striker at the end of the season rather than any other forward.

Aguero who is 32 years of age has been identified as a possible replacement for Timo Werner who has failed to hit the ground running at Stamford Bridge.

Timo Werner has been guilty of some clear cut chances and the blues believes Aguero’s experience will help the team.
