Chelsea are determined to keep their key defender and Germany international Antonio Rudiger at Stamford.

After a back and forth discussion on a new contract for the German defender, a latest report claims the Blues are set to offer him a bumper contract.

Chelsea are said to be ready to offer a contract with a net worth around €14 million to Rudiger in order to ward off interest from the Spanish club Real Madrid.

According to a report by Catalan outlet El Nacional, Chelsea are doing everything in their power to keep hold of Antonio Rudiger beyond next summer’s transfer window.

The Blues are willing to offer the German international a contract with a net worth around €14 million to keep Real Madrid at bay.

If Chelsea are able to do this, there is every possibility that Rudiger would stay put at Stamford Bridge.

Rudiger moved to Chelsea from the Italian side AS Roma in July 2017 and has since become one of the key defenders at Stamford Bridge, even under coach Thomas Tuchel.

He is considered to be among the best defenders in the Premier League at the moment.

Since joining Chelsea, the German international has made 166 appearances for Chelsea, scoring nine goals and registering five assists.
