Personal Terms Agreed: Chelsea reportedly reach agreement with Man City defender

Aside from Raheem Steeling, another Man City player on Chelsea’s radar is Nathan Ake, who they have reportedly reached personal terms with.

This is according to popular transfer expert Fabrizio Romani, who said the Blues have reached an agreement with the central defender for a potential move this summer.

Ake is not a regular at Man City under coach Pep Guardiola since he joined them from Bournemouth in 2020.

So far in his two years’ stay, he has featured in just 24 league appearances for Man City.

Ake comes behind the likes of John Stones, Aymeric Laporte and Ruben Dias in the pecking order at Man City.

Owing to this Man City are reportedly ready to allow the defender to leave this summer.

Chelsea are leading the race to complete deal for Ake, and transfer expert Romano has reported that they have now reached an agreement with the defender ahead of sealing a move.

Tweeting from his official Twitter account on Friday, Romano said: “Chelsea have full agreement with Nathan Aké on personal terms. Man City are aware of the situation on the player side, but still waiting to receive the official bid.

“City want around £40/45m for Aké and plan is to replace him with a new centre back in case he leaves.”
