Aside from some of their defenders that would be leaving this summer, the reports have claimed Chelsea are also ready to let their Italian midfielder Jorghino leave this summer.

This is owing to the uncertainty over his contract situation at Stamford Bridge.

According to 90 Min, the 30-year-old midfielder has admirers in Spain but it is believed he wants to return to the Italian Serie A, where he could return to his former club Napoli.

Jorginho’s current contract with the Blues expires in 2023 and like his colleague at the midfield N’Golo Kante, the two stars have questions over their future this summer as the Blues aim to rebuild under Thomas Tuchel.

Jorginho’s possible departure from Stamford Bridge has now put Conor Gallagher, who was on loan at Crystal Palace last summer.

The report revealed the Chelsea academy graduate will have a meeting with Tuchel in the coming weeks where the 22-year-old will make it clear he wants to fight for a first-team place under the manager next season.

Gallagher was impressive at Crystal Palace and a departure of Jorginho could signify a time for him to shine.
