Chelsea have once again been linked with moves for Cristiano Ronaldo from Man Utd.

According to the report, Chelsea are now ready to sign the Portugal international if Manchester United terminate his contract.

There are growing speculations that Ronaldo may never step foot in Manchester United’s dressing room again following his explosive interview with Piers Morgan.

Ronaldo during the interview slammed the club’s owners, and the hierarchy, for betraying him.

He also blasted the Red Devils manager, Erik ten Hag and his fellow players in the interview.

As of now, he is no longer wanted at Old Trafford and his contract could be terminated after the world cup.

Following the recent happenings, Chelsea are exploring the option of bringing Ronaldo to Stamford Bridge as The Mirror reports.

Man United have been reluctant for Ronaldo to join a Premier League rival since he made his intentions to leave in the summer.

However, if Man Utd terminate his contract, Ronaldo will become a free agent, giving Chelsea a chance.

Chelsea’s owner Todd Boehly was keen on signing the Portugal star after his takeover at Stamford Bridge last summer but then Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel was against it.
