Chelsea players absent from UCL players of the season

Football body UEFA on Sunday released the Champions League team of the season and no Chelsea player made it to the list.

EPL players who made it to the list included Mohammed Salah, Riyad Mahrez and João Cancelo.

However, former Chelsea goalie Thibault Courtois, who now plays for Real Madrid made it to the list.

UEFA released the Champions League Team of the Season in a post on its website on Sunday following the conclusion of the competition on Saturday.

Recall that Real Madrid emerged the winners of this season’s Champions League after beating Liverpool 1-0 in the final in Paris, thanks to an effort from Vinicius.
