Chelsea planning summer move for Inter Milan striker

Chelsea are supposedly firmly keen on re-signing Inter Milan striker Romelu Lukaku this summer.

The Belgium international has been in solid form for Inter Milan during the 2020-21 campaign, scoring 26 times in 35 appearances in all competitions, while he has scored 60 goals in 86 outings for the Italian giants since moving from Manchester United in August 2019.

A new report asserted that Inter Milan had put a £102m valuation on the Belgian amid interest from both Chelsea and Manchester City.

As indicated by Calciomercato, Chelsea are planning a move for Lukaku as they consider alternatives to Borussia Dortmund’s Erling Braut Haaland, who is supposed to be a target for various top European clubs.

The ex-Anderlecht youngster initially played for the Blues between 2011 and 2014 however played for Chelsea only 15 times in all competitions prior to leaving the club.

Romelu Lukaku’s present contract at San Siro is due to expire summer of 2024.
