Chelsea are currently doing exploits in Europe but one person that has been missing in Stamford Bridge is the club owner, Roman Abrahimovic.

Abrahimovic has not been able to enter Britain after he was caught in a clampdown on oligarchs after his visa ran out, amid rising tensions following the poisoning of Russian former spy Sergei Skripal.

According to a new report, Abrahimovic’s only chance of entering Britain is to prove his vast UK-held wealth is legitimate.

Reports claimed that Abramovich and some 700 other super-rich Russians who still hold visas must show their money has nothing to do with crime, criminals or anyone whose actions are not “conducive to the public good.

Chelsea have been doing well in the absence of Roman Abrahimovic but the billionaire has become popular for visiting Stamford Bridge to meet players and staffs.

He has formed a good relationship with the players and they are reportedly motivated by his presence at Stamford Bridge.

Abrahimovic became the owner of Chelsea in 2003 and the Russian billionaire has been consistent in supporting his club financially.
