Chelsea, Man Utd, PSG and a host of other clubs in and outside Europe including Saudi Arabia were handed transfer blows after Napoli star downplayed their exit from Italian Serie A club.

It is no news that Osimhen was linked with departure from the Serie A in the recent summer but the deal didn’t happen.

However, ahead of the January window, a number of clubs including Chelsea were said to be planning on making moves for him.

However, the 24-year-old Nigerian striker has now expressed his love for Napoli in a recent Twitch interview with Mario Balotelli and Emiliano Viviano, saying: “I am happy at Napoli. People don’t know how difficult it is to play in Serie A. From a tactical and physical point of view, it’s one of the most difficult leagues to play in.”

Reacting to moves to Saudi Arabia Osimhen ruled the move out by claiming that he would prefer to play in North America, adding: “If I had the same conditions, I would go to MLS.”
