Chelsea have been linked with moves for another striker this January transfer window as they are said to have opened talks with Borussia Monchengladbach in a bid to sign their forward, Marcus Thuram.

This report was also confirmed by popular transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano in a tweet via his Twitter handle at the weekend.

According to Romano, Thuram will consider all his options as his current contract ends in June.

Romano tweeted, “Chelsea consider Marcus Thuram as big opportunity on the market — with further talks to take place in the next days to discuss conditions and price tag for January.

“Thuram will consider all his options as he won’t extend his contract with Borussia and he’d be free in June.”

A move to Chelsea will be a big one for Thuram and hopefully, he would be able to help them gain back their form.
