Chelsea, Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain are supposedly in a three-way battle to sign Real Madrid’s Raphael Varane during this current summer’s transfer window.

The France international’s current deal at the Bernabeu is expected to lapse next June, and he is expected to be sold in the current market except if another contract is agreed.

As per ABC, Real Madrid are not set to risk losing Varane on a free transfer one year from now and will hence authorize a deal if they get an offer somewhere close to €60m (£51.5m) and €70m (£60m).

The report guarantees that Chelsea, Man United and PSG are all interested to sign the 28-year-old, with the trio apparently planning to battle for a deal after Euro 2020.

The France international was again a key player for Real Madrid during the 2020-21 season, making 41 appearances in all competitions.

Raphael Varane is believed to be interested to look for a new challenge at this stage of his career, however, and different reports have proposed that he is leaning towards a move to the Premier League.
