The recent report has claimed that Chelsea co-owner, Todd Boehly, is on course to sign England international Jude Bellingham for the Blues in the near future.

A report via Bild revealed Boehly has made contact with Bellingham’s father and agent to discuss a possible transfer to Chelsea amid interest from Liverpool, Manchester City, Real Madrid and Manchester United for the player’s signature.

The Blues are considered one of the four ‘serious’ contenders to sign Bellingham and will be willing to meet Dortmund’s stunning valuation for the midfielder if it means they are able to bring him to Stamford Bridge next summer.

Bellingham, who currently plays for German club Borussia Dortmund, is considered one of the most highly-rated players in Europe and has made over 100 appearances for the Bundesliga club since his £25million move from Birmingham City back in 2020.

His impressive form in the Bundesliga and Champions League made him become a key member of manager Gareth Southgate’s England squad.

Bellingham’s current contract with Dortmund doesn’t expire until 2025.
