Chelsea linked with moves for former player

Chelsea are still yet to impress under their new manager Mauricio Pochettino despite making some new signing this summer.

With a few hours left to the end of the summer transfer window, Chelsea have been linked with moves to re-sign former player Joao Felix.

This is according to 90min, which reported that the Blues are considering rivalling Spanish club Barcelona to sign Felix from Atletico Madrid.

Recall that Felix was at Stamford Bridge in the second half of the season on loan.

Although Chelsea were at their worst last season, he was one of the players that impressed given the money that the Blues spent on the loan.

He scored four goals for Chelsea before returning to Atletico Madrid at the end of last season.

However, following his fallout with manager Diego Simeone, Felix is set to exit Madrid before the summer transfer window closes with his next destination unknown.

He could consider playing for Barcelona or returning to Chelsea. However, the La Liga club have an edge over the Blues as they will be playing in European football this season.
