Chelsea keen on signing Monaco midfielder

Chelsea have reportedly identified Monaco midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni as a possible summer transfer target.

The Blues manager currently has four central players at his disposal, while Mason Mount has also been used in that area of the pitch on a regular basis.

However, the recently-appointed Chelsea boss is interested to put his own stamp on the first-team squad at Stamford Bridge ahead of next season.

As per Goal, the Blues could make a move for the Frenchman, who has emerged as a key man at Monaco.

The France U21 International has made 41 appearances in all competitions this season, helping keep his club in contention for the Ligue 1 title.

The report claims that Monaco would be ready to accept around £34m for the 21-year-old’s signature, significantly higher than the £15.5m that they shelled out last year.
