The latest transfer report has revealed that Chelsea have joined the likes of Arsenal and Paris Saint Germain PSG in the race to sign Achraf Hakimi from Seria A club Inter Milan.

According to the reports, the Serie A champions are said to be looking to sell around £80m worth of first-team players this summer so as to balance their books, this was the major reason for Antonio Conte’s departure from the club.

Inter Milan would accept the sum of £70 million for the Moroccan defender and according to the Daily Mail UK report, Chelsea have become the latest club, along with London rivals Arsenal and Ligue 1 outfit Paris Saint-Germain, to register their interest.

Milan’s new coach, Simone Inzaghi wants Hakimi to remain at San Siro next season, but the club may reluctantly accept any big-money offer if one were to be made this summer.

Of the three big clubs that have shown interest, only Chelsea and PSG would be able to pay the high price Inter has valued the defender for, Arsenal on the other would be hoping for a drop in the price or a loan move.

Hakimi who moved to Italy from Real Madrid last summer for around £40m, has made 37 appearances in Serie A, with seven goals and 10 assists to his name.
