Chelsea hero tips Kante for Ballon d’Or

Chelsea hero, Pat Nevin in a statement has said that the Blues midfielder and France international, N’Golo Kante deserves the prestigious Ballon d’Or this season.

It is no longer news that Kante has grown to become one of the most important Chelsea players since he arrived at Stamford Bridge from Leicester City.

Kante was the man of the match during the Blues game vs. Man City in the Uefa Champions League that saw the Blues lift the trophy for the second time a few weeks ago.

After the Blues recent win, a lot of football fans have been tipping Kante for the Ballon d’Or.

While the Frenchman has downplayed the opportunity of him winning the award, Chelsea star, Nevin has tipped him for it as he said he deserves the award.

Writing in his column for Chelsea’s website, Nevin said: “N’Golo had a bunch of moments that no other player could match, but then he has been doing that week in, week out.

“It was a definitive man-of-the-match performance, underlining he would be the first pick for any team, in any period of football history, not just now.

“He’s a great of the game and a player who many say deserves to be a Ballon d’Or winner, and I agree wholeheartedly.”
