Chelsea’s pursuit of Borussia Dortmund forward Erling Haaland has been given a positive boost as his agent Mino Raiola shares an update about his future.

Haaland is currently one of the youngest and hottest striker in Europe as he has been able to continue the good form that saw him move to the Bundesliga from RB Salzburg.

The Norwegian star has been linked with a move to top European teams across Europe and Chelsea who were the biggest spender during last transfer window are ready to fight for his signature.

Barcelona have been tipped as a potential move for the young striker as the Catalonia club are trying everything possible to keep Lionel Messi happy at the club.

However, Mino Raiola has insisted that there has been no contact with Barcelona presidential candidate Emili Rousaud over the possible transfer of Haaland to the Spanish giant.

Rousaud is in contention for Barcelona presidential seat and he is reportedly interested in making a move for the Norwegian star once he’s voted in.

Josep Maria Minguella, Rousaud’s aide, also claimed that they had reached an agreement with Raiola over the transfer of Haaland.

However, Raiola while speaking with Sport1 stated that it’s Fake news.

According to the super agent, he has never talked to any presidential candidate of Barcelona regarding Haaland and he won’t do.

He added that if there will be a new president elected in January, he can call him.

Haaland has a release clause in his contract of £65million, but that does not come into effect until June 2022 and top teams are eager to pounce on the deal once it’s activated.
