Chelsea fans react as Inter hands Lukaku shirt no 90

Chelsea fans have read meanings to the shirt no. 90 handed to Romelu Lukaku upon his return to Inter Milan this summer.

It is no longer news that Lukaku has completed a one-year loan move back to the Serie A side.

This is coming less than 12 months after he departed San Siro to Stamford Bridge in a £97.5m transfer.

However, Inter ended up paying the Blues a £6.9 million loan fee for the 29-year-old.

The Seria A side also revealed Lukaku will take the No 90 shirt next season, which has stirred reactions from the Blues fans supporters on social media.

The reactions from some of the Blues fans showed they believe the number was chosen to represent the net gain Inter Milan made by offloading and re-signing the Belgian striker in less than a year.
