Chelsea defender and Germany international Antonio Rudiger has made a U-turn on his future decision at Stamford Bridge.

Rudiger has been linked with moves away from Chelsea amidst his current contract terms with the Blues.

This comes as Rudiger’s current deal with the Blues is set to lapse at the end of this season.

The Germany defender has been linked with transfer moves to Juventus and Bayern Munich.

Chelsea, on the other hand, are said to be talking with the defender on a possible extension at Stamford Bridge.

While the earlier reports have suggested that Rudiger would prefer to remain at the West London, a report via the Athletic claimed that the defender is expected to be on the move.

The report claimed that Rudiger is ‘resigned to leaving” owing to the slow progress being made in contract negotiations with the club’s hierarchy.

There are speculations that the Blues will continue to have discussions with the German defender agent at least till the January transfer window.

If no agreement are reached before the end of the January transfer window, Chelsea are likely to sell him off to any interested club so as not to lose him for free in the summer window.
