Former Chelsea and now Bayern Munich manager Thomas Tuchel is keen on signing Trevor Chalobah to his squad this season.

Tuchel wants the German club to sign Chalobah, who is valued at around £25 million from Chelsea.

A report via TeamTalk revealed Tuchel, who coached Chalobah at Stamford Bridge, wants the defender to move to Bayern Munich this January transfer window.

Bayern Munich were linked with moves for Chelsea’s academy graduate last summer, but a deal to bring him to Germany failed to materialize.

Despite being unable to sign him last summer, Bayern appear ready to resurrect their interest in the player as they look to bolster their defensive ranks in the second half of the season.

Chalobah is currently on the sideline for Chelsea as he is currently battling with a thigh injury.

So far this season, the defender is yet to make an appearance for the Blues, who are seated at the 10th spot on the League table.
