Chelsea could raid AC Milan to sign these two players

Chelsea under manager Frank Lampard are reportedly working on some new signings that could see players arrive at Stamford Bridge in the summer.

This comes as the Blues are reported to be planning to make a move for two players from Italian side, AC Milan.

A report claims that Chelsea are keeping tabs on signing Alessio Romagnoli, who could come at a cheap price if he is unable to extend his current deal with AC Milan.

Romagnoli has 18 months on his contract at San Siro which means if Milan doesn’t make a decision on his future soon they could see him leave at a lesser fee.

If he doesn’t sign a new deal, then Stamford Bridge could be his next destination.

According to 90min, the Blues are interested in Romagnoli.

Lampard is keen on boosting his defence and a player like Romagnoli will be effective at the back.

The Blues are reported to have also taken interest in Milan goal keeper Gianluigi Donnarumma, whose contract is due to expire at the end of this season.

Although, the 21-year-old has revealed his intention to remain at San Siro, the Italian club are however yet to agree to his proposed contract demand.

Chelsea will be hoping AC Milan does not meet his demand so they can sign him as a replacement for Kepa Arrizabalaga who is on his way out.
