Italian club Inter Milan have indicated interest to sign back Belgium international Romelu Lukaku this summer but his wages remain a stumbling block.

With Lukaku’s good performance during the season, the Blues are set to let him leave and there are claims they are ready to help the Italian side pay part of his wages.

However, for this to happen, Chelsea would consider a swap deal from Inter Milan.

According to The Daily Mail, Chelsea have made an enquiry to sign Milan Skriniar this summer, but the two clubs are said to be far apart on valuation.

So since Inter want Lukaku and Chelsea want Skriniar, they could reach a sort of negotiation and agreement that would suit all parties.

It is, however, uncertain the Italian side would want Skriniar to leave since there are no certainty Lukaku would impress at San Siro, with Antonio Conte no longer in charge of the club.

Aside from Inter, Tottenham Hotspurs under Conte have shown interest to sign Lukaku from Stamford Bridge.
