Chelsea considering replacement for Pulisic

A report via the Daily Mail has claimed Chelsea are considering a replacement for American international Christian Pulisic as his future remains uncertain at the club.

The report revealed the Blues are weighing up a potential move for Leon Bailey as Pulisic’s replacement.

Pulisic has more than 12 months left on his contract, but there are speculations about him leaving in the past year already.

And so far there has been no talk about extending his contract, which may mean the Blues are ready to let him leave, considering that he has not been impressive for the last couple of seasons.

Bailey on the other hand has been in form this season after an injury-filled first season for Villa, despite the team’s struggles, he scored 3 goals in 11 Premier League starts.

While the records are not overly impressive numbers, the 25-year-old winger has been on Chelsea’s radar for a decade, since he was a teenager just starting to make his way into European football from Jamaica.

Chelsea are yet to confirm moves for Bailey but it is known that Pulisic’s future is in doubt.
