Chelsea consider letting Abraham and Kepa leave to sign Kane

With Timo Werner underperforming at Chelsea this season, there are reports that the Blues would at least loan him out to another club in the summer transfer window to bring in a new striker.

Chelsea have been linked with several targets to serve as a replacement for Werner and one of them is England international, Harry Kane.

The Blues are one of the favourites to sign Kane alongside  Man City and Man Utd who are monitoring the situation at the club.

According to ESPN reports, it claimed that Chelsea are ready to let Tammy Abraham and Kepa Arrizabalaga leave to sign Kane.

While Tottenham wouldn’t be willing to let Kane leave as he still has three more years off his current contract, they would also prefer not to sign him off to a perceived rival like Chelsea.

Tottenham Chairman, Daniel Levy is said to be demanding a fee in the region of £150million.

Tottenham doesn’t like signing key players to Chelsea and it’s not new, it happened in 3011 when the Hotspur were reluctant to sanction a move for Luka Modric to Chelsea despite the midfielder expressing his desire to join them.

Chelsea also beat Spurs to the signing of Willian.

If Abraham and Kepa are added to the deal, the Hotspur could have a change of heart and consider signing out Kane to Chelsea.
