Having signed two players this summer, the Blues are not relenting as a report disclosed they are close to welcoming a third player this summer.

The Blues are said to be ‘very close’ to signing Presnel Kimpembe from Paris Saint-Germain as their third signing of the summer, according to Portuguese outlet O Jogo.

Kimpembe is expected to be Chelsea’s second defensive player as they have already signed Kalidou Koulibaly from Napoli.

It is believed that the Blues are in talks with PSG over a deal for Kimpembe and the French Ligue 1 side are ready to sell the centre-back.

The reports added that PSG are now looking at Sporting’s Goncalo Inacio as Kimpembe’s replacement.

However, the French side have fixed his transfer fee at €50m (£42.3m) fee, an amount Chelsea would be willing to pay.

This is not the first time Kimpembe would be linked with a move to the West London side, he has also been linked to Juventus in the past.
