Chelsea captain debunks rumours of bust-up amidst teammates

Chelsea captain Cesar Azpilicueta has for the first time spoken about the claims that he had a clash with teammate Antonio Rudiger before Frank Lampard was sacked as the club coach.

There have been rumour about the future of Frank Lampard before he was sacked some days ago but new reports of bust-up among experience players in the squad came up days after his dismissal.

According to reports, Cesar Azpilicueta has was involved in a bust-up with Antonio Rudiger who was having limited game time under Frank Lampard.

Though some players have earlier come out to react to the claims, Cesar Azpilicueta who was on the pitch from start to finish in Thomas Tuchel’s first game has insisted that such thing did not happen in the squad.

Azpilicueta stated that everything is fine and he can say such thing didn’t happen as the players did not have any issues and have always worked together.

The Spaniard noted that as other players, they have sometimes our discussions, normal in football and when results are not going well, everybody has more tension around but nothing further than this.

He added that normal footballers like normal workers in their offices or with other jobs with pressure who have to deliver and nothing further than this, there is not an issue, the team are so committed.

Chelsea kept a clean sheet in Thomas Tuchel’s first game in charge of the club and they will be eager to make a huge statement when they face Burnley on Sunday.
