Chelsea capable of winning Premier League title – Joe Cole

As the race for who would emerge as the winner of the Premier League continue this season, former Chelsea star Joe Cole has shared his opinion about the Blues’ chances.

Cole is of the opinion that the Blues can win the title it if they are able to meet certain conditions.

As of now manager Enzo Maresca’s side are third in the league, with one point behind Manchester City in second and nine behind leaders, Liverpool heading into Matchday 13.

This season has seen Chelsea lost only two league games, against the two sides above them and have 22 points.

Cole, who used to be a former England international, spoke about the possibility of the Blues challenging for the league title.

According to Cole, the west London side need to stay in the race until January, at least.

He stated that if the Blues are six points ahead, they can mount a title challenge.

Cole also tipped the Blues to make some new additions in the January transfer window.

“But that is really remarkable that I’m saying that because there were times last year when you were searching for answers and we didn’t know where they’d end up,” Cole told Mail Sport
