Chelsea boss shares positive news on winger injury ahead of match City clash

Chelsea manager Frank Lampard has given fans some positive news about the injury situation of Hakim Ziyech who joined the blues in the summer.

Hakim Ziyech has been in a terrific form ever since he made the switch to Stamford from Ajax but has been missing for the last four matches due to an injury he sustained during that match against Leeds.

The Blues have been unable to win any matches for the past four matches and ahead of their clash against Manchester City, Lampard’s job has have been rumoured to be on the line.

Lampard during his press conference  stated that the Moroccan international should be ready for selection as his impact in the team has been felt.

The England man noted that there is a possibility that Hakim Ziyech could be fit as he’s certainly progressing to the point where he is very close to fitness.

With the new surge of Covid-19 cases already taking over the UK, Lampard noted that players safety is Paramount as Manchester City match with Everton had to be cancelled and it’s left to see if the Blues will be able to play the Manchester team.

Lampard will be eager to have Hakim Ziyech back to the teams as they’ve been having problem ever since he was forced out of the match against Leeds United.
