Chelsea battle premier league rivals for the signature of high profile goalkeeper
Chelsea are not relenting in their pursuit of an AC Milan goalkeeper and are reportedly willing to battle it out with fellow Premier League club Manchester United.
The future of Gianluigi Donnarumma at AC Milan have been under the spot for the past few weeks as the Italian contract is set to expire this summer.
Donnarumma is yet to agree on a new deal with AC Milan and he has been linked with a move to Chelsea despite that the club brought in a new goalkeeper in Eduardo Mendy last summer.
Super agent Mino Raiola who is representing Donnarumma has now claimed he have held talks with both Chelsea and Manchester United over a possible free-transfer for his client.
According to Duncan Castles while speaking on the Transfer Window Podcast, new information circulating is that both Chelsea and Manchester United have been in talks with Raiola about Donnarumma.
The reports stated that it looks like Donnarumma has an opportunity to move to England, should he choose to, accompanied by the commission that Raiola seeks and would want for the free transfer of such a valuable asset.
It’s also being reported that there is an opportunity for either club and others to secure Donnarumma on a longer-term contract without there being a fee.
