Real Madrid midfielder, Toni Kroos happens to be one of those that take exception to the mass moves of players from European leagues to the Saudi Pro League.

This comes as Kroos hit out at Gabri Veiga’s decision to join Saudi club Al Ahli, this summer transfer window as he tagged the midfielder ’embarrassing’.

Veiga was rated as one of the Spanish La Liga’s most exciting young midfield talents and had attracted interest from a number of top clubs in Europe this summer.

The reports revealed popular EPL clubs Liverpool and Chelsea were linked with moves for the Spain Under-21 international.

While it looked like Italian club Napoli had won the race to sign him up until Wednesday, the midfielder had a late change of heart that saw him perform a U-turn.

Viega will now sign for the Saudi Arabia club instead, according to Fabrizio Romano.

When Romano shared the update via his Instagram account, Kroos replied to the post, saying, ‘embarrassing.’
