Chelsea among 6 clubs that are favourites to win UCL but…

Defending UCL champions Chelsea have been named among the favourites to win the trophy this season.

This comes as former English midfielder Joe Cole named the Blues alongside the likes of Man City, Liverpool, Man Utd, Bayern Munich and Paris Saint Germain PSG as favourites to win the UCL trophy this season.

“I think all the other English teams, you know Liverpool, Manchester United and Manchester City,” Cole replied when asked who the main threats to Chelsea defending their title are.

“You throw Bayern Munich is there, we still don’t know how PSG are going to be, we know about the quality there, but off the ball, I still question whether they are going to be good enough.”

Cole, however, expressed worries that Chelsea’s defence of their Champions League title may be derailed by the West London side’s focus on the Premier League.

Chelsea are currently leading in the English domestic league as they hope to win the title this season, having lost it to Man City, who they defeated in the final of the UCL to be crowned champions of Europe for the second time in their history.
