Can €250million sway Cole Palmer from Chelsea?

Chelsea’s win at the FIFA club world cup has further placed their star player and England international, Cole Palmer, in the spotlight.
Palmer, who signed for Chelsea from Premier League rivals Manchester City for a reported fee of £40 million, has emerged as one of the players, who have been linked with moves away from Stamford Bridge.
Since joining the Blues, Palmer has emerged as one their most important player, scoring 43 goals in 97 matches.
However, on Tuesday, a report emerged linking the Chelsea star with a world record transfer away from Stamford Bridge.
This comes as Spanish news outlet Fichajes, claimed French side PSG have ‘outlined an ambitious plan’ to sign Palmer.
According to report, the Parc des Princes club could make a historic offer of €250 million, an amount that would shake the football world to its foundation.
As of now, the world record transfer fee stands at €222 million, which was paid by PSG when they signed Neymar from Barcelona in 2017.
It unlikely that the whopping amount would make Palmer leave Chelsea as it has been stated that the Blues are ‘not considering his departure under any circumstances.
Palmer has so far shown no signs of wanting to leave Stamford Bridge anytime soon.
